The Bahamas Red Cross Volunteer is an individual whose work exemplifies or inspires humanitarian values of human dignity, respect, compassion, protection and assistance according to the Fundamental Principals of the International Red Cross Red and Crescent Movement. Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers are the heart of effective humanitarian assistance for millions of vulnerable people. Volunteers are our strength. They are what define us as a unique humanitarian organization. Without them the Red Cross could not function effectively.
