The AMMC is a Quasi-Government agency that presently manages all of the historic forts in New Providence, as well as the Pompey Museum of Slavery & Emancipation, the Balcony House Museum, as well as museums in Long Island, San Salvador and Rock Sound, Eleuthera, with other affiliations in Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
Within the next five years, the Corporation is committed to instituting the National Museum of The Bahamas at Centerville House (Collins House, the former Ministry of Education building and the original St Andrew's School).
