Job vacancy English Language Teacher

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher at a small school in Nassau, The Bahamas. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in BJC and BGCSE language arts. Candidates able to teach SAT English will be given preference.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of English language skills (grammar, writing, and reading comprehension)
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Passion for education and fostering critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience
• Experience working with students in grades 7-12
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
