Job vacancy Luggage Handler

Job Summary

The Luggage Handler works closely with the Operations Department to plan, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for maintaining guest luggage in accordance to company standards. He/She is responsible for transferring luggage to and from guest onto vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Core Values, Vision, and Mission Statement in all guest interactions whether it be internal or external customers.
• Assist drivers and airport representatives with the tagging and loading of luggage for arriving clients.
• Assist drivers and airport representatives with the off-loading luggage for departing clients.
• Maintain appropriate management of guest luggage and report any damage luggage in part or whole immediately to the airport supervisor.
• Assist truck drivers with driving occasionally
• Keep assigned bus interior clean and fueled at all times.
• Properly operate all assigned communication equipment.
• Perform other related duties assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of 1+ year experience in customer service
• A valid Driver’s License
• Strong customer service and listening skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Candidate must be a strong team player
• Self-motivated and confidential
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A professional demeanor is to be maintained at all times
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms
