Job vacancy Field Service Technician

Summary:

The Field Service Technician (Surveillance) - works under the direction of the Surveillance Technician Supervisor and performs technical work installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting surveillance equipment within Atlantis Resort & Casino Paradise Island including PIDA. Related components will include Alarms, Door access control systems, CCTV, Audio equipment, IP and analog/digital cameras, Digital video records (DVR), encoders and Network video records (NVR). Surveillance Technicians will be required to work irregular hours in the performance of their duties and responsibilities as specified below.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma with two years' experience, or two-year technical degree in computer science
• Requires two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of technical investigative/surveillance equipment or an equivalent combination of education (e.g. formal electronics technology program or training in the use, repair and installation of electronic or surveillance equipment)
• Understanding of Cabling and Networking concepts.
• Reading and comprehending technical manuals, manufacturer specifications and troubleshooting guides used in the installation and repair of technical investigative equipment.
• Evaluate situations and resolve problems.
• Prioritize tasks to complete job functions in an orderly, efficient manner.
• Communicate orally and in writing with all levels of contacts within and outside the Department.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Safely move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities.
