JOB SUMMARY: - The job is responsibility for providing support to the Electrical Team in the day-to-day operational functions at LPIA. The job also performs daily checks and assists with the preventative maintenance (PM) on all Electrical systems throughout the facility and on the airfield.

REPORTS TO: – Supervisor & Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: -

• Successful completion of High School with a diploma.
• Successful completion of Trades certificate in the electrical installation and maintenance field is a plus.
• Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in a multi-functional maintenance environment.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.

JOB COMPETENCIES: -

• Aptitude and willingness on how to maintain and repair new equipment and systems.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Ensure that all workplace safety rules are adhered to at all times.
• Monitors Electrical Equipment and Systems and troubleshoots minor problems as is necessary.
• Assist with the Generator and Switchgear maintenance.
• Assist with airfield light maintenance.
• Assist with all electrical equipment controls and maintenance.
• Works closely with Plumbing, HVAC and Facilities team to ensure that the repairs and maintenance activities of LPIA’s assets is completed in a timely fashion.
• Assists with the preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
• Keeps the work area clean and free of any debris.
• Participates in all equipment training classes.
• Respond to maintenance calls in a timely manner.
• Where necessary retrieve required parts from the Stores area.
• Be able to fill out work orders forms in a timely manner.
• Advise work control of the status of each maintenance call.
• Performs any duties other considered relevant to the above as assigned.
