Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
Coordinate financial audits and liaise with external auditors
Monitor operational expenses to ensure proper management of funds
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain depreciation and asset register
Review insurance contracts for adequate coverage or exposure
Review and maintain inventory control system

Qualifications/Requirements:

Chartered Accountant designation or BSc Accounting
Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft word and excel
Results oriented and pays attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and reporting standards
Strong leadership and team management abilities
