Job vacancy Fine Arts Lecturer

BAMSI is seeking faculty/scientist with a strong academic and research background in Fine Arts. The successful candidate must show a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and participate in Institute and Community service.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have a MSc (PhD preferred) in Fine Arts or a closely related field from an accredited Institution; a minimum of three years full-time teaching or research at the tertiary level; evidence of research and scholarship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellence in teaching, research and practical applications in Fine Arts: drawing; painting; digital photography; printmaking; textiles; sculpture and installation; open media, drama, production, choir,and may develop other specialized courses within the area of expertise to fill departmental needs; engage in high-quality, cutting-edge research, innovation, and scholarship; assist in securing external grants and other funding opportunities; engage in curriculum review, revision and development; participate in student recruitment and academic advisement; faculty colloquia, serve on Institute and external committees.
