Job overview

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an outstanding and ambitious team at King's College School, The Bahamas, Inspired's new premium school on the island paradise of The Bahamas.

Due to the high level of bilingual students in school, it is important that applicants bring with them mother tongue French skills.

The School

King’s College School, The Bahamas is a brand-new school that opened in September 2022 in Nassau. It is the only school in the region that is part of a leading global group of premium schools and brings over 50 years of academic excellence from the King’s group combined with proven best practices from Inspired Schools across six continents.

For the 2023/24 academic year, the school welcomed over 160 students from Pre-Reception to Year 8, an additional year group will be added every year until Year 13, along with a Nursery.

The school is housed in a newly built 10-acre campus of architectural significance. It offers the highest quality educational facilities, ensuring that students benefit from a learning environment that has been designed for how students learn in the modern day.

Facilities include light, and airy classrooms, state-of-the-art science labs, a multipurpose hall, a 25m swimming pool, football pitches, tennis courts, padel courts, dance, drama and art studios, an adventure park playground, and plenty of green spaces and shaded areas for students to enjoy.

King’s College School joins other King’s Group schools in Spain, Panama, Latvia, Portugal and Egypt. King’s Group schools have provided children with a rigorous and broad British and international education since 1969 with a focus on developing thoughtful and knowledgeable young people. The success of the group comes from recruiting teachers with the skills and experience to turn the curriculum into dynamic lessons that ignite the imagination. The King’s Group schools’ belief that child-centred, exploratory learning teaches students to think, question and explore new ideas, complements Inspired’s forward-thinking learning approach.
