Question for Bahamas Mortgage Corporation

My husband is currently paying mortgage for duplex property in South Bahamia, Freeport Grand Bahama at Bahamas Mortgage and would like to build on it, however, we would like to consolidate a mortgage that he met me with for another home to be able to build. Can we combine our mortgages and will we be eligible for building on property or can we borrow monies to renovate existing home?
