Job vacancy Planner Estimator

Amentum is seeking a Planner Estimator to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission.

Job Purpose

The Planner Estimator plans, estimates and manages single and multiple discipline Facility Engineering & Maintenance projects to be executed either via vendor or with in-house workforce on the AUTEC project. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Allocates available material and labor resources.
• Honors the constraints of scope, schedule and budget.
• Assists project coordinators and project coordinators with project development.
• Provides design estimates for feasibility studies and conceptual designs for developing customer and internal budgets.
• Develops procurement packages for vendor services.
• Perform annual Facilities Condition Assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years related experience working in facilities maintenance and repair.
• Associate's degree.
• Must obtain AUTEC man lift operator license within 6 months of employment.
• Interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of personnel in multi-cultural team-oriented environment.
• Competent in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel and Outlook), MAXIMO and estimating software.
• Must be able to climb ladders and access utility trenches and on occasion confined spaces.
• Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
• Valid US passport will be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in construction related field is preferred.
• AutoCAD skills is preferred.
